From the meticulously places hand-beadings embellishments to the delicate Chantilly fabric, all elements are carefully curated to embody the essence of a bride who appreciates the finer things in life.
– Material: Crafted from the finest two-toned Aso Oke mixed with Chantilly lace.
– Design & Details: This corset dress features a Queen Anne neckline adorned with a blend of Chantilly lace and intricate beadwork along the sides of the corset bodice, extending from the bust to the shoulders and down to the biceps. The skirt showcases simple pleats that highlight the waistline, finished with simple patterned beadings. The A-line sleeves are crafted from Chantilly fabric, creating a striking cone shape.
FABRIC & PRINT
Our Hand woven Aso Oke fabric was locally woven in Lagos Nigeria, showcasing the vibrant heritage and artistry of the region.
Material: Metallic two toned Aso Oke fabric made into two colors: Turquoise Blue with a hint of Purple tone.
WASH & CARE
- Hand Washing: It’s best to wash Aso Oke by hand using mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage the fabric’s fibers and colors
- Cold Water: Always use cold or lukewarm water to wash Aso Oke. Hot water can cause the fabric to shrink or the colors to fade.
- Gentle Washing: Gently wash the fabric without scrubbing too hard to prevent damaging the intricate weaves. Soak it briefly if necessary.
- Drying: Air dry the fabric in a shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight, which can cause the colors to fade. Do not use a dryer as the heat can damage the fabric.
- Ironing: If needed, iron Aso Oke on a low heat setting. To avoid direct heat contact, you can place a cloth over the dress before ironing.
