Dress Nana is full of pure elegance specially crafted from traditional Aso oke and Ghanaian Kente Ankara fabrics. The corset bodice, made with two-toned Aso oke, beautifully complements the straight made with vibrant Ghana Ankara, while the slim twisted sleeves added a touch of sophistication. The general look is a blend of two African culture with a creative infusion of modern aesthetics.

FABRIC & PRINT

The African print fabric was locally sourced in Lagos, Nigeria, while the metallic Aso Oke was also produced locally, perfectly complementing the vibrant African print.

Material: 100% pure cotton (Print fabric) and 100% metallic Aso Oke fabric.

WASH & CARE

1. Hand Washing: It’s best to wash Aso Oke or any Aso Oke mixed outfit by hand using mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage the fabric’s fibers and colors.
2. Cold Water: Always use cold or lukewarm water to wash Aso Oke. Hot water can cause the fabric to shrink or the colors to fade.
3. Gentle Washing: Gently wash the fabric without scrubbing too hard to prevent damaging the intricate weaves. Soak it briefly if necessary.
4. Drying: Air dry the fabric in a shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight, which can cause the colors to fade. Do not use a dryer as the heat can damage the fabric.
5. Ironing: If needed, iron Aso Oke on a low heat setting. To avoid direct heat contact, you can place a cloth over the fabric before ironing.
