- Hand Washing: It’s best to wash Aso Oke by hand using mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage the fabric’s fibers and colors.
- Cold Water: Always use cold or lukewarm water to wash Aso Oke. Hot water can cause the fabric to shrink or the colors to fade.
- Gentle Washing: Gently wash the fabric without scrubbing too hard to prevent damaging the intricate weaves.
- Drying: Air dry the fabric in a shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight, which can cause the colors to fade. Do not use a dryer as the heat can damage the fabric.
- Ironing: If needed, iron Aso Oke on a low heat setting. To avoid direct heat contact, always place a cloth over the fabric before ironing.
